Due to the success of my first Immigration 101 session, which took place in May, I added a second session which is to run on September 15, but this session has already filled up! As a result, we are offering a third session which is to take place on September 20.
The seminar will be a combination of lecture and workshop, which will optimize the participants’ grasp on topics such as immigration law compliance and the hiring and continued employment of temporary foreign workers. the focus will be on immigration laws relevant to employers and common immigration problems faced by HR personnel. the workshop scenarios will allow participants to discuss how to deal with real life scenarios.
This course, which is Human Resources Management Association of Manitoba (HRMAM) accredited, is three hours long and counts as three hours toward the Canadian Human Resources Professional’s (CHRP) Certified Professional Development requirements. The registration fee is just $125 + GST for HRMAM members and $150 + GST for non-members.
